In Memoriam Alex Grieve, who served on the international board of directors from 1974 to 1976, has died. He was a Life Member of the Timaru Suburban Lions Club and spent his career as the Harbor Master of Timaru in New Zealand. A Melvin Jones Fellow, Grieve received numerous recognitions and awards as a Lion and during his maritime career. For the Record As of May 31, Lions Clubs International had 1,408,492 members in 46,863 clubs and 755 districts in 210 countries and geographic areas. Correction The South Carroll Lioness-Lions Club is in Maryland. It was incorrectly identified in the May issue. The LION regrets the error.
